We're looking for a commercially driven Lead Advisory Associate Director to play a key role in our expanding Corporate Finance team. Key Responsibilities
- Working with Partners and Directors to lead and manage corporate finance transactions from inception to completion
- Have the ability to lead certain transactions with partner/director oversight
- Build strong relationships with clients, working predominantly on sell side transactions, with private equity exposure
- Prepare information memoranda and review junior work on information memoranda
- Manage the full due diligence process and be able to contribute to commercial / legal negotiation points
- Prepare pitch documents and contribute to pitch meetings
- Support the team's ongoing growth, including beginning to identify relevant business opportunities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Finance and the wider firm and group, begin to identify wider revenue generating referral opportunities
- Manage junior resource, including assisting in their development, managing workflow and reviewing work
- Manage research and analyse transactions and sector analysis
- Prepare financial valuations and returns analysis
- Have started to build a network of professional contacts
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- ACA or ACCA or CFQ qualification (or equivalent), ideally with first time passes
- Strong financial analysis and Excel / PowerPoint skills
- Confident in presenting and articulating findings
- Several years' experience in a lead advisory role and completed deals in the GBP 5m to GBP 50m EV range
