Co-op Program Overview
Arrowstreet Capital is a Boston-based systematic investment firm that manages global equity portfolios for institutional investors around the world. Job Overview
The Operational Risk and Control team is responsible for establishing and supporting cross-functional operational risk management programs and processes across the organization. The co-op who fills this position will be a contributor to firmwide operational risk management programs with an opportunity to learn and contribute to a wide variety of matters.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21-$29 per hour.

Job Overview
The Operational Risk and Control team is responsible for establishing and supporting cross-functional operational risk management programs and processes across the organization. Responsibilities
- Leverage third-party screening technology to review and assess third parties for potential legal, regulatory or reputational risks
- Assist in gathering data for Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and perform analysis on indicator trends for our firmwide risk management programs
- Test internal controls as a part of Arrowstreet's Compliance Testing Program
- Coordinate on ad hoc deliverables across multiple teams within Operational Risk and Control as well as Regulatory Compliance
- Evaluate and propose enhancements to processes across multiple teams
- Prepare and present project updates to the Head of Operational Risk and Control, Regulatory Compliance, and the Chief Compliance Officer
- Support monitoring or compliance with our firm's compliance manual and code of ethics
- Collaborate with other Arrowstreet teams (portfolio management, legal, client reporting and trade compliance) to research compliance related matters
- Interpret data and analyze results to provide ongoing reporting to members of the Operational Risk and Control team
Qualifications
- Strong academic record in the undergraduate program
- Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
- Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills both (written and verbal) and collaboration skills
- Excellent orientation to detail and accuracy, ensuring completion of high-quality work deliverables
- An interest in asset management or regulatory environment and developments
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and propose solutions to team members
