If you are a motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

As a Deal Participations Closing and Monitoring Analyst, you will:
  • Play an integral part in the entire credit lifecycle, from pre-closing and closing of facilities to the daily monitoring and approval of client deals and repayments.
  • Act as a trusted technical expert, providing invaluable support to our Front Office (FO) on all credit-related matters.
  • Proactively monitor and manage credit insurances, ensuring the timely payment of premiums for all insured deals.
  • Champion operational compliance with Natixis' stringent requirements, identifying and implementing enhancements for greater efficiency.
  • Diligently monitor and analyze collateral and covenant activities to maintain robust operational risk control.
  • Foster strong cross-departmental collaboration with teams such as Loan Booking, Operations, Legal, Risk, Finance, IT, BPO, and Compliance, ensuring seamless workflow and communication.
  • Engage directly with clients on a daily basis to process financing requests with speed and accuracy.
  • Contribute significantly to process improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Duties: Your day-to-day contributions will include:
  • Actively participating in pre-closing meetings and providing essential support to the Front Office for new deals.
  • Meticulously reviewing credit agreements for adherence to credit approvals and partnering with the Deal Closing team for precise booking in Loan IQ.
  • Identifying and promptly requesting waivers from the Front Office when discrepancies with credit approvals arise.
  • Ensuring all Conditions Precedent (CPs) are met before processing any funding.
  • Collaborating with the Loan Booking team to provide critical information and execute controls for accurate deal booking in Loan IQ.
  • Overseeing deals from inception through to termination, adeptly managing amendments and waivers in partnership with the FO and Deal Closing team.
  • Facilitating the prompt booking of credit insurances, calculating premiums, and ensuring strict compliance with Insurance Certificate requirements.
  • Setting up and vigilantly monitoring covenants in Loan IQ for both bilateral and participated deals, guaranteeing timely reporting to Account Managers and the Credit Risk Department.
  • Managing the setup and updates of collateral in Loan IQ, adhering to business-line specific frequency requirements.
  • Preparing detailed spreadsheets for facilities requiring Front Office approval and overseeing daily reconciliations and payment processing activities.
  • Conducting comprehensive monthly reporting, including in-depth reviews of distributions, contributions, and cash availability on collateral accounts.
  • Ensuring rigorous compliance with all regulatory requirements, including collateral reporting, and verifying that facilities are repaid according to credit approval conditions.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong, productive relationships with business units, GFO Ops teams, outsourced providers, and internal support/control groups to drive continuous process enhancement.
  • Partnering closely with your supervisor to optimize processes, controls, and staff utilization, encompassing both internal FTEs and outsourced providers.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks, while simultaneously seeking out and championing opportunities for process improvements with IT and other operations teams.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial lending and asset financing support management within a commercial banking environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a closely related business field.
  • Proven familiarity with essential banking systems such as Cash Plus and Loan IQ.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • A solid understanding of financial statements and a strong comfort level in calculating and interpreting financial ratios for insightful analysis.
  • Prior experience with Letters of Credit and foundational product knowledge is a significant advantage.

The salary range for the VP-level position will be between $120,000 - $150,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
