Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Execute trades across FX, interest rates, bonds, repos, securities borrowing/lending (SBL), and precious metals, ensuring both pre- and post-trade compliance.
2. Requite to monitor and trade during London and New York market hours.
3. Conduct research and development of cross-currency (XCCY), interest rate, credit, precious metal, and repo trading strategies.
4. Monitor and manage treasury trading books, as well as Group exposures in rates, FX, and credit.
5. Contribute to the development of in-house trading platforms and algorithmic trading strategies.
6. Facilitate trading arrangements with counterparties and oversee counterparty trading limits.
7. Support the launch of new product initiatives.
8. Liaise with operations teams to ensure smooth settlement processes.
9. Participate in ISDA, GMRA, and GMSLA negotiations, and assist with collateral management.

Requirements

1. 2–5 years’ experience in global markets trading, gained on either the buy side or sell side.
2. Strong interest and passion for trading in global markets, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
3. Solid understanding of credit, interest rate, FX, and precious metals products.
4. Familiarity with ISDA, GMRA, and GMSLA documentation and processes.
5. Proficient in Bloomberg Terminal, AIM, and TOM.
6. Knowledge of Python and VBA programming is an advantage.
7. Bachelor’s degree in quantitative finance, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics.
8. Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
9. Strong communication skills; responsible, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
