Our client is an established hedge fund seeking an Investor Relations professional to support the continued growth of its private wealth investor base. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private banks, wealth managers, and other private wealth channels.

This role is well suited to an investment management professional with strong fundraising and relationship management capabilities, a solid understanding of alternative investments, and an established network within the private wealth market.

Key Responsibilities

Execute fundraising strategies targeting high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private banks, and wealth management platforms.
Maintain long-term relationships with existing investors and provide regular updates on fund performance, portfolio strategy, and market developments.
Work closely with senior management, portfolio managers, and investment teams to communicate the firm's investment philosophy and strategies effectively.
Prepare and deliver investor presentations, pitchbooks, due diligence materials, fund updates, and other marketing collateral.
Coordinate with legal, compliance, operations, and external service providers throughout the investor onboarding process.
Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor events, roadshows, and other business development activities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment within the private wealth and alternative investment landscape.

Candidate Requirements

Relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, distribution, private banking, wealth management, or institutional sales, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the industry.
Demonstrated experience covering private wealth clients, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private banks, or wealth management platforms.
Existing investor relationships and a strong network within the relevant market are highly preferred.
Good understanding of hedge fund strategies, alternative investments, and financial markets.
Proven ability to originate and convert investor opportunities.
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Commercial, proactive, and able to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to communicate complex investment strategies clearly to sophisticated investors.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred for Greater China coverage.
