Build and optimise high-performance C++ trading systems, developing scalable infrastructure and algorithmic platforms while solving complex technical challenges alongside quantitative researchers and traders in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Join a highly technical Core Development team responsible for building and maintaining sophisticated algorithmic trading platforms. You’ll focus heavily on C++ development while working closely with quantitative researchers and traders who are actively involved in the technology.

You’ll design scalable applications and infrastructure, optimise performance, and solve technically demanding problems across the trading technology stack.

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain algorithmic trading platform components.
Build scalable, multi-tiered applications and infrastructure.
Optimise C++ functionality for high-performance trading systems.
Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders.
Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Apply strong software testing and quality assurance practices.
Work across operating systems, networks, and performance optimisation.
Contribute independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
Continuously improve the technology supporting algorithmic trading.

Why Join Us:

You’ll work on core technology that supports sophisticated algorithmic trading, combining advanced software engineering with performance-critical systems development.

The role provides an opportunity to work closely with quantitative researchers and traders while tackling challenging problems across C++, operating systems, networking, infrastructure, and performance optimisation.

You’ll be part of a technically driven environment where engineering quality, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous innovation are highly valued. The team also operates within a growing technology organisation with global resources and an entrepreneurial environment.

About You:

You’re an experienced C++ Software Engineer with strong programming skills in a Linux environment and a solid understanding of computer systems.

You have a strong grasp of operating systems, networking, performance optimisation, and software engineering principles. Ideally, you bring4+ years of C++ development experience , particularly involving algorithmic trading systems or other performance-critical applications.

You’re analytical, technically curious, and comfortable independently tackling difficult problems while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team.

You care deeply about testing and quality, communicate clearly, and bring a humble, cooperative approach to working with colleagues.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
