Bank by bank these are salaries for analysts, associates and VPs on Wall Street

What's the going salary for junior bankers now?

Finance influencer Litquidity polled their following, receiving more than 4,000 responses from finance professionals in the process.

The resulting salary table is huge, but can give a good idea of what a junior investment banker’s salary (this doesn't include bonus) looks like in the United States – and for the vast majority of those, that means New York pay (which, according to Litquidity’s data, is broadly comparable to San Francisco and Chicago, the second and third most common cities for bankers respectively.)

Funny, had I not worked in one of the 2 above, I would have believed these salaries. It is different in EMEA, much lower, plus these salaries dont indicate "support" roles such as CRM, RISK, LEGAL, REGULATORY etc teams. 1st year Analysts in Tier 1 US bank in London were earning just about 40k, senior associates max 60-70k, not much different to some public services:). If someone in NHS reads this , they might feel bad bout themselves believing these figures, but this is not reality in London UNLESS these figures show Sales/Trader/M&A analysts etc but banks employ many other functions too, lets not forget.
