Singapore’s home hero hedge fund picks up a Senior PM from Millennium
Dymon Asia Capital, the Singapore-based hedge fund growing all over Asia, had a great 2025, with its multi-strategy fund returning 18% across the year. It grew across the year – and it seems to be growing into 2026, too.

Wissam Mezrani joined Dymon Asia Capital last month in Singapore as a portfolio manager, specialising in cross-asset derivative strategies. He joined the firm from Millennium, where he spent just under two years as a senior portfolio manager. Dymon does not use the "senior" PM title, although it does also operate pods, like many other multi-strategy funds.
Before joining Millennium, Mezrani spent four years at Citi in Hong Kong and then Singapore. In both markets, he was the firm’s head of quantitative market making – presumably locally. He also had stints as a trader at SocGen and Credit Suisse.
At Dymon, Mezrani will reunite with Anass Hamedi, a fellow graduate of grande école CentraleSupélec. They worked together closely at Millennium – Hamedi was part of Mezrani’s pod – and they are working together at Dymon, too.
Dymon’s appetite for growth seems insatiable. The fund hired at least 19 portfolio managers in 2025, as part of a 100-ish growth in headcount. It seems to be on the same path in 2026 – and with its multi-strategy fund posting a record 5% return in January 2026, things seem to be on track.
